Where to Watch: Todd Rohal's Horror Comedy Movie is now showing to sold out audiences at select theatres in the U.S..

BREAKING NEWS: The movie's smash impact since TIFF in September of 2025 (from the director)
TORONTO - TIFF World Premiere
2 Sold Out shows — Nearly 2000 people saw the film. INSANE response from the crowd — loud laughs and applause and screams. Red carpet photo shoots and Q&A with the full cast (including Kynzie at 2am!)
FANTASTIC FEST - Austin
Sold Out Shows — A lot of big dudes wearing raggedy black John Carpenter shirts eating hamburgers. The film deeply offended the Christian son of Black Phone 2 director, who yelled at Todd Rohal in the hallway and called him a “Piece of Shit”. Haha - what a great and rewarding experience!
BEYOND FEST - LA
Sold Out the Egyptian theater on the 100 year anniversary of the premiere of Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights on the same screen. Best crowd yet and very fun Q&A with the full cast. Comedians, filmmakers, actors and some great weirdos in attendance. Sat behind an executive looking type who HATED the entire movie...as he should.
EUROPEAN INT’L FANTASY FESTIVAL - Strasbourg, France
Everyone at this festival was hammered drunk. 2 sold out shows. They were all so drunk they asked us to skip the Q&As so that they could drink some more and instead did a drunken introduction where the head of the festival dressed up as Vermina and drunkenly screamed at everyone in French while Tipper and I stood by and watched.
SITGES FILM FESTIVAL - Sitges, Spain
This is the Cannes Film Festival sponsored by Spencers Gifts. Everyone said this would be the most insane and fun screening that we’d ever have, but it was not at all. It was fine. I introed the movie by saying “Hola Fartfaces!” which got a HUGE laugh when I said it and then when the translator repeated it. A hit! Met a lot of great people and we threw a party in our airbnb kitchen for a bunch of filmmakers and the cops had to shut it down.
IFC CENTER - NYC
This is where it really gets going. Our actual theatrical premiere. Sold out screenings. Amazing response. Felt like the entire audience was having the times of their lives. Eric Andre, Emma Stone, Peaches and William Lustig all in attendance - Q&A’s hosted by John Lee, Jeff Krulik and Sarah Sherman. Just a great, great time all around. Perfect screenings!
ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE - Los Angeles
A LOT of screenings in LA — people came out and filled the houses — at a theater that nobody wants to drive to, park in or be near — every person there took 10x the effort of a regular human — and we were grateful to ALL of them. Very fun shows with Q&A’s hosted by Calvin Reeder, Andy Deyoung, Bridey Elliott, Jed Maheu and Brendon Walsh.
ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE - Austin
Sold out shows! All tickets for the 8PM shows were gone in a week prior! Dang! Andrew Bujalski hosted a Q&A that could've gone on for hours. And Nathan Zellner hosted an “Inside the Actors Studio” with Danny Weiner, who plays the police officer at the end of the film. A VERY weird night, indeed.
ALAMO DRAFTHOUSE - San Francisco
One of the best nights of my life. My hero, legendary filmmaker Mike Kuchar, joined the screening for a pre-show talk about underground movie making and he screened his short film masterpiece “The Stranger In Apartment 9F” to a very lively crowd in a beautiful 1916 movie house — where you can hear EVERYTHING in the best way. This was the premiere of the film’s 35mm print, which looked and sounded incredible!!
This coming weekend the film screens in 35mm at the Music Box Theater in Chicago. Then off to Wind Gap, PA, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, Toronto, Philadelphia, Omaha, Ojai, Knoxville, Tampa, St. Louis and Charlotte.
It’s also screening at film festivals in Europe including: Thessaloniki, Greece; Sofia, Bulgaria; Sydney, Australia; Talin, Estonia; Paris, France; Amsterdam, Netherlands — and some other places that I am forgetting about right now!
The movie CONTINUES to play at the IFC Center — held over for a 5th week -- in addition to being held over at the Alamos in LA, Austin and SF.
2026 will bring MORE SCREENINGS — an east coast tour, special events in LA, a multi-city one-night-only screening with a live component, international screenings and Drive-In theaters!
